Please read the letter from Dr. Green to all families regarding District 128's follow up to suspicious behavior reported at one of our bus stops that can be accessed on the district website under "News." This letter was also emailed to all of our families earlier this morning.

The Parent Volunteer meeting is Tuesday September 18th @ Navajo. We will meet in the multi-purpose room at 10am. Indian Hill, Chippewa and Navajo are looking for parents to help in our schools.

Our Navajo Choir is up early and practicing with Ms. Miller. They sound great on day 2! If your interested in singing it's not to late to join!



Please join us on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7:00p in the IJHS gym for a community information night on vaping, underage drinking, and drug use. This event is a collaborative effort between Palos Heights D128, Palos Community District 118, and Palos Heights Police Department.

With the retirement of Dr. Dawn Green, we would like to extend an invitation to our school community to join us in developing a vision profile for our future dynamic leader. A community forum will be held on October 3rd at 6:30 pm at Navajo School. Please consider joining us if you are able to do so. MAP testing begins Tuesday, Sept. 11 for all 6th graders and new students. Testing will be performed in ELA and math classes

Tuesday September 11 is Patriot Day at Chippewa. The students and staff are encouraged to wear red white and blue. We will gather together in the morning to say the Pledge of Allegiance as a school community.
