Welcome Back to the 2020-2021 School Year! The first day for students is FRIDAY, AUGUST 21. It is a half-day with an 11:15 AM dismissal time. Please stay tuned to email, as back to school information from the district office, the technology department and the buildings will be forthcoming this week and next.

Dear Navajo Families,
I hope you are enjoying your summer and staying healthy and safe. Involving parents and students in the learning process is extremely important to me. I believe we are partners in learning and it is essential that we form a strong foundation and trusting relationships. Open, honest, and consistent communication is essential in the learning process and I want to start that communication by hosting zoom meetings to get to know the Navajo families. These meetings will be a brief meet and greet interactive session. I am excited to meet all of you, in a safe, virtual way for now. Please feel free to reach out and let me know if the dates or times do not work for you or if you are unable to get into a session of your preference and I would be happy to work something out with you on an individual basis.

Fall Update - An email was sent this morning to all families with links to the latest updates regarding fall planning. Stay safe and be well.
An email went out yesterday with a summary of our Fall Family Survey Feedback & FAQ. It also contained information regarding the need to hold the Board Meeting remotely on July 14 due to social distancing requirements. An email message just went out with a link to a survey for all families registered for Fall 2020. If you did not see the email in your inbox, then please email your building principal, as your email is not properly entered into the registration system. Please stay tuned for a Fall Planning Survey going out to families this week!! You will have the opportunity to provide your input on our tentative plans for reopening schools this fall. The survey will remain open until July 8, 2020. Link will be sent via push notification, posted on Facebook and went via Email.
The District 128 Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on July 14, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the District Office. We will post the agenda 48 hours before the meeting as a link on our website and on the doors of all school facilities.

New Student Registration - If you know of families new to D128, please have them contact the respective school or District Office to schedule a registration appointment! We are not scheduling a Walk-in Day due to the restrictions related to large gatherings and social distancing. We are taking registration by appointment all summer long! Any returning families needing assistance, may also schedule by appointment!
