Bullying is using intimidation or an aggressive behavior to target a specific individual or group that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated over time.
- Staff receives report.
- Student is interviewed by staff.
- If deemed appropriate, other students involved would be interviewed.
- Based on bullying definition listed above, the Social Worker and/or Principal will gather and investigate facts and determine next steps.
- Principal will notify the parents and determine appropriate plan of action: which could include a variety of interventions including but not limited to such actions as peer mediation, counseling, and disciplinary action.
